Maybe leaving crumbs is a good thing. As to how they are getting in is still unknown. This morning DH went outside found them walking up the side of the trailer and onto the roof. He checked around all the lights and seams and couldn't see where they were entering.
This is could actually be a good thing .. NOW maybe he will put the Eternabond on the roof and chalk the lights.
Home Depot here we come. I want the outside sprayed as well as the ground and around everything that touches the ground and the trailer.

We had a terrible ant problem during our last camping trip to SC. Some seasoned veterans were smart and used Boric Acid powder and sprinkled it everywhere the trailer touched the ground, including the water and electric lines.
